| In Memoriam |
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr Neil Smart (ON 1986-1993) earlier this year.
At School, Neil was in Cooper's House. He was a member of the Debating Society, Photographic Society and Politics Society. He also played rugby and was in the 3rd XV team. In 1992/93 he was awarded the Nistala Award for Biology.
Neil left school in 1993 to study medicine at the University of Newcastle. He was a prominent surgeon, academic and mentor to the global community of colorectal surgery.
A tribute page has been set up and the web address is https://neiljamessmart.muchloved.com
We send our sincerest condolences to Neil's wife Samantha, his family and friends.
