Our parent community were extremely supportive at our Networking Breakfasts. Over the course of 3 days, students got to meet and chat with people in careers such as law, medicine, genetics, management consultancy, finance, engineering, psychology, to name but a few.
We had talks from Tanvi Tambe (ON 2016-2018) about studying Biomedical Science and what it is like to work in a start-up company and Faisal Ahmed (ON 2016-2018) about careers at Samsung.
On our final day we held a University and Careers Fair in the Player Hall as well as guest panels hosted by ONs and Governors.
In total, 87 external people came which was a 40% increase on last year!
If you would like to get involved in our next careers event or help support our students with their prospective careers, please get in touch with Mrs Rebecca Auterson (Head of Careers) at auterson.r@nottinghamhigh.co.uk or Deborah and Sam at development@nottinghamhigh.co.uk
